flint outreach

WOW!!! i just got back from a missions trip to flint, MI. it was only 43 mins away by mapquest but it was a diffrent world! for starts I did not know that the bloods and the crips were here is michigan but they are. But So is the holy sprit!!! it was awesome to see white people from howell (the land of the KKK, not really but thats what were are know for) worshiping and working together with black people from flint (the land of crime, not really but thats what they are know for), God did some very cool things...the cloest for me was when we where on the west side and a almost gang fight started about 20 red shirts and 20 blue shirts showed some ini there cars with they hands hidden, others standing around waiting ... people closer to God then me started praying and asking God to help. about 5 mins of stress went by and them the pastor (we were at a out door church, canaval tipe thing) said if you want to become a christian you should come to the front of the stage and get prayed for...So I looked over and saw and mix of white and black, red and blue young and old, all types of people that the world says should hate each other laying it all down for a better life then the world has to offer a life with Chirst as Lord....IT WAS SWEEET, satan used hate to being people their but God used it for his glory!!!
